How to make Deviled Eggs

  1. Place a steamer basket or trivet inside your Instant Pot and add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the pot.

  2. Carefully place the eggs on the steamer basket or trivet.

  3. Close the Instant Pot lid, set the valve to the sealing position, and select the "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" button. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.

  4. Once the cooking time is complete, allow for a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then do a quick release by carefully turning the valve to the venting position.

  5. Open the Instant Pot lid and transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 5 minutes.

  6. Gently peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a separate bowl.

  7. Mash the egg yolks with a fork until they are finely crumbled.

  8. Add the mayonnaise salad dressing and whip until mayonnaise and egg yokes are smooth

  9. Place the filling into a piping bag fitted with a decorative tip.

  10. Pipe the filling into the egg white halves, creating a swirl or design of your choice.

  11. Sprinkle a pinch of paprika and seasoned salt gently over the tops of the filled eggs for added flavor and a pop of color.

  12. Lightly sprinkle ground pepper over the deviled eggs.

  13. Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
