What Sides Go with Chicken Wings?

  • Start by evenly laying out your chicken wings on a cookie sheet.

  • Brush both sides of the wings with olive oil.

  • Sprinkle half of the garlic salt, onion powder, and pepper on one side of the wings. Then flip the wings and sprinkle the remaining half on the other side.

  • Prepare your Instant Pot by placing the steamer basket inside and lining it with parchment paper.

  • Carefully stack the seasoned chicken wings inside the Instant Pot steamer basket.

  • Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot.

  • Place the Instant Pot lid on and set it to manual high-pressure cooking for 15 minutes. Allow for a natural release when the cooking cycle is complete.

  • While you're waiting for the Instant Pot to naturally release, mix the BBQ sauce and honey in a separate bowl until well combined.

  • Once the pressure has naturally released, carefully remove the chicken wings from the Instant Pot.

  • Coat each chicken wing generously with the BBQ sauce and honey mixture.

  • Preheat your oven broiler to high.

  • Place the sauced wings on a sprayed cookie sheet, arranging them so they will broil evenly.

  • Broil the wings for 3 to 5 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of crispiness. You can use the "5-minute" setting for a darker crisp if preferred.

  • Keep an eye on the wings while broiling to prevent burning.

  • Once they're done, remove the wings from the oven.

Serve your delicious Instant Pot BBQ Chicken Wings as a tasty appetizer or main dish.

  • Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven.
