Southern Kicked Up Green Beans

This is a very different way to make green beans. Kids will love them! An easy green bean recipe that will make ordinary green beans to the next level and make them extraordinary and it's so simple to do! Garden fresh green beans are the best for this recipe, but make no mistake, you can do this with canned green beans. Your whole family will devour them!

Add Fresh (or canned) green beans to a cooking pot. If using fresh, add enough water to cover. If using canned do not drain. Add Bouillon cubes,  bring beans to a soft boil, turn down heat and let simmer while you do your bacon and onions.

How To Spice Up Canned Green Beans

You can also drain green beans when done, drain and add sauteed  onions with bacon Yum!~

Dice bacon into bite sized strips, dice onion, add butter, garlic salt, and pepper.

When onions are translucent, and bacon is crisp/soft, remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel. 

Sauteed Bacon and Onions

Add bacon and onions to the top of your green beans (or mix them) either way they are delicious! See how the green beans soaked up the bullion? That's how you want em!~

You Will Need

2 Cans Green Beans (Do not drain)
4 TBSP Butter
1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
4 Beef Bouillon Cubes

8 Strips Bacon (diced)

1 Small Onion (diced)
